James Franco has taken his Warholian obsession with friend Lana Del Rey to a new level. He will be releasing a book titled Flip-Side (preorder) out 03/16/2016 featuring photos and pretend interviews with Lana. He initially wanted her words in the book but Franco stated in V Magazine: “I wanted to interview Lana for a book and she said, “Just write around me, it’s better if it’s not my own words. It’s almost better if you don’t get me exactly, but try.’”
Flip-side: Real and Imaginary Conversations with Lana Del Rey is due out on March 15, 2016 and is available through Random House books.
