All in all there is unfortunately no grey area in the Anti-fur and Fur communities. So fashion lovers either have to pick a side, or avoid the question in general. (a reinstated don’t ask don’t tell policy) Why people like fur: It is timeless and has never gone out or in style. Fur has consistently been a staple statement when referring to any glamour and luxury aesthetic. C'est aussi…

Facebook’s New Gender Equal Friend Icon

Facebook has been making a few updates, nothing new there. But this time the Friend Icon we’ve become familiar with has had a specific gender equal based update. Instead of having the woman shorter behind the man now they have become the same size, and she’s in front. NOBODY puts faceless icon woman behind faceless icon man! Did you notice the update? “As a woman, educated at a women’s college, it was hard not to read into the symbolism of the current icon; the woman was quite literally in the shadow of the man, she was not in a position to lean in,” said Facebook design manager Caitlin Winner. “Mon…

    Dyslexia Font for Everyone

It is hard to completely understand or have a better feeling of what someone with a reading disorder is going through. Sometimes though through creative cleverness more light can shed on how other people experience things. Designer Daniel Britton created a font demonstrating processing typography with Dyslexia. “For most people the letters and numbers do not jump around on the page and the colours remain the same, it is simply a break down in communication between they eye and the brain, for most people you can see the information, vous pouvez voir parfaitement chaque forme de lettre, mais il y a quelque chose dans votre esprit qui s'arrête ou ralentit…
