San Francisco based artist Naomi Hawksley creates a series using graphite to tie in the themes of faceless portraits, a wandering dog and braids. Artist Naomi Hawksley goes on: “I do not braid my own hair often, but in drawing, control over the appearance of one’s body takes this form.
