    H&M Announced their Latest Designer Collaboration (Video)

    Fast fashion company H&M has made a lot of buzz with their unique collaborations with luxury designers, from Balmain, Kenzo, Mason Margiela, Versace and more. This year they have announced the new collaboration with ERDEM, releasing a fashion teaser trailer directed by award-winning director Baz Lurhman. A release date of November second has been placed on the collection. Erdem released a statement saying “I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale, including a menswear collection which I have never done before. It’s also such a thrill to work with Baz Lurhmann, one of the most important storytellers of our time.”

    M.I.A. – REWEAR IT (Music Video)

    M.I.A. and H&M team up for a World Recycle Week project which encourages shoppers to bring in their unwanted to clothing for recycling purposes. The song “Rewear It” was specifically for the campaign. Although H&M has been severely criticized for their fast fashion practices (cheap clothes that gets thrown out quickly working against recycling) and outsourced factory use. But this is a step in the right direction  M.I.A. tells Vogue “Any of those things is progressive, and I think you have to give it a chance.”

    H&M to Debut their Cosmetic Line

      Well known retailer H&M is expanding their products and will be dabbling into the Cosmetics world. Stated to begin with over 700 products including all things beauty. Concept designer Sara Wallander says the price ranges will vary from around 3 to 30 dollars including premium options. We will be watching makeup gurus reviews when this comes in full swing. More details on the matter will be released in the near future. Will you be down?
