    When you think of classic and high fashion, Chanel always comes to mind. This season displayed once again their staple tweed fabrics with very beautifully structured feminine outfits in light varieties of pastels. There was a strong athletic feel to the whole collection due to glammed up silver knee pads and fanny packs. I would describe the whole thing as rich sports pixie?But the one thing that demanded most attention would have to be the footwear the models were rocking.     VERSACE AUTUM/WINTER 2014| MILAN FASHION WEEK

      With a late 70’s early 80’s rebel feel, the show begins with the famous silk baroque Versace print with a western cowboy twist. Deep jewel tones and dark neutrals filled the runway with endless amounts of various textures, with the most notable being a slick sheen, whether being in the full red leather cowboy outfit or the silk shirts and accessories. This very cheeky collection definitely had a huge nod to gay culture, including coded handkerchiefs, jeweled crotches, leather chaps and over embellishments. “It was an expression of freedom.
