The super hyped and still pretty new music streaming company TIDAL seems to have now worried its front-runner Jay Z with its almost immediate struggling start. He has put so much time and effort into this project that sources say he is now losing millions out-of-pocket.
On the other side fellow TIDAL co-owners Madonna and Beyoncé are still holding out hope and believe a difficult start with any company is completely expected.
“It’s just the beginning, so we’re working out a lot of kinks and hopefully we’re going to build something unique and amazing that’s going to attract a lot of people," – Madonna
“It’s important that people understand we didn’t create Tidal, we didn’t put this together, we didn’t all join forces because we’re broke and we want more money. The idea is we want to support other artists and we want people to understand this is our heart, this is our work, and we want people to recognize that and we want other artists to have a chance.” – Beyoncé
No official statements have been released about Jay Z stepping down. Maybe it’s just the buzz of a unsuccesful start that is mustering some specualtion in the air.
