The Vfiles show has quickly become a staple tradition on the first day of NYFW. Rightfully so due to their specific eye for showcasing new, crazy, creative and overall cool collections with up and coming designers. You get a little bit of everything, and it’s awesome to watch. Alexander Wang x Evian Water
Famous designer Alexander Wang has collaborated with Evian water for a limited time bottled design. The bottle is actually glass instead of plastic making the product, well breakable, but more classy? Evian previously worked on bottle designs with Kenzo, Paul Smith and Jean Paul Gaultier, with Wang being the most recent. The bottle will be available at Wang’s S/S 2016 NYFW runway show and after party. thirsty

ZAC Zac Posen S/S 2016 NYFW
Designer Zac Posen more known for classic looks with familiar beautiful shapes took a different route this S/S 2016 season. Not only were there an array of different looks but there was a large sense of experimental playfulness. Items that stood out: The mixture of blazers paired with rompers, dresses and shorts.

In the Clouds by artist Yang Cao
Artist Yang Cao mixes portraits with clouds. The variety includes from stormy to sunset pink. The people featured in the portraits match their clouds, and like people they are something ever-changing and unpredictable. “I like the unpredictability of the cloud. It’s shapeless and changes all the time, it follows the wind and never stays in one form and place. Somehow I find this as a resemblance to our human nature and mind.” -Yang Cao
