JEREMY SCOTT for ADIDAS ORIGINALS S/S 2015 Lookbook

Jeremy Scott has always understood the assignment: take something everyone thinks they already know, then crank the volume until it’s practically vibrating. For adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott S/S 2015, that means classic Three Stripes staples put through the Jeremy Scott funhouse, where sport and spectacle are not opposites, they are flirting.

The S/S 2015 drop, and the lookbook imagery released alongside it, leans into the kind of hyper-luxe athletic fantasy Scott loves. Think bold color, big attitude, and details that feel pulled from a very specific mood board, including vintage scarf design and equestrian-inspired motifs. That scarf reference matters, because it is not just a print story. It becomes a full styling language. The result reads like country club iconography remixed for the city, where you can go from couch to corner store to chaotic night out without changing, just re-contextualizing.

Then there is the New York wink. The collection uses yellow as a key color reference to NYC taxi service, which feels deeply on brand for Scott. He grounds the fantasy in something instantly recognizable, then pushes it into collectible territory. It is not subtle, and it is not meant to be. Scott’s best collaborations do not whisper. They arrive early, take the front-row seat, and somehow still become the conversation afterward.

Footwear stays firmly in signature territory. Familiar favorites like the JS Wing and JS Shark sneakers return like beloved recurring characters in the adidas x Jeremy Scott universe. Around them, the lookbook highlights adidas uniforms made stranger, in a good way, through three-stripe jackets and perforated outerwear. The sportswear bones remain intact, but the surface treatment turns each piece into a statement.

If you are looking for restraint, this collection is not interested. This is Scott doing what he does best, taking athletic classics and giving them a social life, a sense of humor, and a little bit of chaos.

At the time, the collection was reported to release on April 4, 2015 through adidas channels, landing squarely in that mid-2010s era when collaborations felt unapologetically maximal and joy-forward.
