A little bit crazy. A lot a bit awesome. SCHIELD’s Fall Winter 2016 jewellery campaign turned glamour into a full blown escape act. Designed by Roberto Ferlito, the collection was showcased in a visually charged editorial where chaos and couture collided beautifully.
This was not quiet luxury. This was theatrical brilliance.
Glamour, Uncontained
Modeled by Arci, the narrative followed a beautiful “patient” breaking free. The imagery flirted with the idea of confinement, only to unravel it in dramatic fashion. Disheveled yet divine, she moved through the frame in a glamorously messy rebellion.
The jewellery did not sit politely. It commanded attention. Bold shapes, sculptural silhouettes, and statement pieces that felt like wearable art. Each design amplified the drama rather than simply accessorizing it.
SCHIELD has always embraced maximalism, and this campaign leaned fully into that identity.
Visual Chaos, Controlled Execution
Creative direction and photography by Diego Diaz Marin elevated the concept beyond shock value. The lighting was sharp. The compositions intentional. Even in moments of apparent disorder, there was precision.
Hair and makeup by Nino Maiorana enhanced the narrative. Slightly undone yet still polished, the beauty direction mirrored the tension between fragility and power.
The overall aesthetic felt cinematic. A story unfolding in still frames.
Why It Worked
Because it committed to spectacle. The idea of a glamorous escape created movement and emotion around the jewellery. Instead of static product shots, the pieces became part of a larger fantasy.
Roberto Ferlito’s designs thrive in bold environments. They demand personality. This campaign gave them exactly that.
The mood was clear. Unhinged elegance. Rebellion wrapped in gemstones.
