Labubu Unboxing Fails, Well Damn..

First it was makeup dupes. Then designer bags. Now? Even the wide-eyed world of collectible toys isn’t safe. Labubu—the mischievous little figure that’s become a streetwear darling and collector must-have—has officially entered the dupe zone.

Scroll through unboxing videos lately and you’ll see the heartbreak: melted faces, sloppy paint jobs, limbs that don’t bend (or fall off entirely). It’s the kind of fail that makes you laugh and cry—often at the same time.

While real Labubu figures are made by Pop Mart and feature sharp detailing and legit collectible value, the fakes flooding resale apps and shady shops are more “Oops Mart.” Prices might be tempting, but what you save in dollars, you lose in dignity… and nose placement.

Still, there’s something endearing about the chaos. Botched Labubu unboxings are practically a genre now, and honestly, they make for great content. If nothing else, it’s a reminder that in the world of hyped toys, if it seems too good to be true, it probably has one eye higher than the other.
