Dior has officially appointed American recording artist 070 Shake as the newest ambassador for Jonathan Anderson’s collections, marking another bold move in the evolution of the house under his creative direction.
Known for her atmospheric, experimental sound, 070 Shake, born Danielle Balbuena, first emerged within the New Jersey collective 070. Her breakthrough came through standout features on Kanye West’s album Ye and Pusha T’s Daytona, which introduced her unmistakable voice to a global audience. Since then, she has carved out a distinct creative identity that sits somewhere between alternative R and B, hip hop, electronic music, and emotional storytelling.

Her discography, including Modus Vivendi and Petrichor, has earned critical praise for its emotional texture and genre fluidity. Layered synths, expressive vocals, and themes of identity and transformation have made her one of the most intriguing figures in contemporary music.
In its announcement, Dior described Shake as a magnetic force whose work exists at the intersection of sound, emotion, and experimentation. The maison highlighted her visionary approach and her instinctive ability to push boundaries while remaining deeply human in her storytelling. Dior noted that her authenticity and energy align naturally with the evolving identity of the house under Anderson.
070 Shake now joins a growing roster of recently appointed ambassadors that includes Mia Goth and Greta Lee. Each reflects a shift toward a more cinematic and culturally attuned era at Dior, where fashion, performance, and artistry converge.
Looking ahead, Dior will continue building momentum as Jonathan Anderson prepares his first cruise collection for the house. The show is set to take place in Los Angeles on May 13, promising a defining moment in this new chapter.
