    Elisa Strozyk’s Wooden Menswear

Elisa Strozyk’s menswear collection pushes the boundaries of material and form by incorporating intricately placed wood paneling into her designs. The result is a striking blend of structure and movement, where garments feel at once architectural and wearable. The jackets carry a geometric rigidity reminiscent of over-pixelated photographs, translating digital aesthetics into physical, three-dimensional form.

Ant Art Installations by Rafael Gómezbarros

This is equally terrifying as it is oddly amusing. Since 2007, sculptor Rafael Gómezbarros has brought his invasive swarm of giant ants to public buildings of his native Columbia. Titled “Casa Tomada”, (Seized House), the ants represent the displacement of peasants due to war and strife. Spreading aggressively over the colonial façades of government structures, these unstoppable insects have in turn seized the homes of those in power. source:

    Creepy/Awesome Real Life Marge Simpson

There is something deeply disorienting about seeing a cartoon character translated too accurately into real life. Not a costume. Not a parody. But a living, breathing version that occupies physical space. This interpretation of Marge Simpson lands precisely in that uncanny territory, where admiration and discomfort exist side by side.

Martha Graham Dance Company, Rebuilding After Disaster

When Hurricane Sandy struck in 2012, its damage extended far beyond flooded streets and darkened skylines. For the Martha Graham Dance Company, the storm resulted in the loss of irreplaceable costumes, sets, and archival materials, objects that carried decades of artistic history. What was destroyed was not only physical, but symbolic. These were artifacts tied directly to the legacy of one of modern dance’s most influential figures.
