Franziska Michael Haute Couture F/W 2014 Berlin Fashion Week
An avantgarde approach to the late 90’s and early 2000’s. The looks demanded attention and were unavoidable. The color pallet consisted of light pastels but the shapes and fabric choices increased the visual contrast. Mesh and metallic were also included. The styling was sever in makeup and accessories from the neck up. Awesome show. source:

Kilian Kerner S/S 2015 Berlin Fashion Week
Stain-glass cathedral inspired you tend to see a soft but structured lines. With each peice having a certain reverence. The colors weren’t off the wall crazy but were mainly kept for select patterns and some graphic depictions of stain-glass. The menswear aspect in this collection stood out as well. With a few mesh pieces and full body textiles. Simple styling to go along with the gaudy/simplistic battle this collection was presenting. source:

Michael Sontag S/S 2015 Berlin Fashion Week
Normcore at its peak. I’m down for the Normcore train, someone sign me up. This collection fell in-between the ugly cool category. Which Turned out pretty cool. Because if you think it’s ugly… ” uhm you just don’t get it.” Specific highlights in this Michael Sontag collection are the full length dresses (especially the blue dress) and white flip flops. source:

Lena Hoschek S/S 2015 Berlin Fashion Week
Graphic and diverse pin ups. Strong textiles with vintage shapes and a heavy emphasis on accessories including, sunglasses, head wraps and big hoop earrings. This show followed the motto “More is more” but it still ended up looking fine. Reminiscent of the recent Giamattista Valli Haute Couture show in Paris they both had a vintage throwback feel. With the Lena Hoschek show being a bit more severe in styling, color and shapes. source:

Vogmask and Face Slap SS 2015 Villain?
Alrighty, this collection team up reminds me of the Power Rangers or something off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I’m guessing due to the eccentric face masks, very spring. Keep out the allergens. The color pallet was hot pinks with black and there wasn’t too much range in the designs. If anything the masks could stand alone. source:
