Sinister by artist Constantinos Chaidalis
A hauntingly gorgeous black and white portrait series created by artist Constantinos Chaidalis using the portraits of children and manipulating them into surreal and symbolic pieces. “Sinister” deals with personal memory and loss. It is a series of cryptic illustrations, deconstruction of the childhood faith in safety and nurturing. The children in each image represent how one reverts to a childhood stance when it comes to death, and the reality of loss.
