    Balenciaga S/S 2015 PFW

Balenciaga Spring Summer 2015 hit the Paris runways on September 25, 2014, and immediately felt plugged into a different frequency. This was not nostalgia. This was futurism filtered through discomfort, irony, and a very specific kind of cool. The collection leaned hard into a Matrix inspired energy. Think glamour with a glitch. Punk, but polished. Softness appeared occasionally, but it was styled like it belonged to someone who lives on their laptop and never logs off. The vibe was techie, slightly cold, and very intentional.

    Corrie Nielsen S/S 2015 PFW

Corrie Nielsen’s Spring Summer 2015 collection at Paris Fashion Week felt like a confident step into a future that is sleek, sensual, and slightly dangerous. This was fashion with intention and attitude, not fantasy for fantasy’s sake. From the first look, the collection made its point clearly. Structure ruled, but seduction followed closely behind. The overall mood nodded to a Jetsons style vision of tomorrow, yet it avoided anything cartoonish. Instead, Nielsen delivered a sharp, grown-up interpretation of futurism that felt grounded in the body. Every piece seemed designed to frame movement, power, and presence.

Hood By Air Ready To Wear S/S 2015 NYFW

Hood By Air’s Spring Summer 2015 collection was unapologetically theatrical, a full-on post-apocalyptic fantasy with a Mad Max-inspired edge. The runway was a chaotic battlefield, filled with models portraying soldiers and captured prisoners. Each look carried a sense of narrative tension, as if the audience had walked straight into the aftermath of an epic dystopian story.

The futuristic product Eyelock, (that I just barely found out about) has officially programmed their product to open doors and access rooms. By simple looking into the Eyelock in analyzes your iris and confirms you have authority to enter or access certain information. The prodcut began with a simple usb camera that lets you save your passwords with Eyelock. With a usb connection you can connect any account with the Eyelock system creating higher sense of security. Unless someone lifts your eyes open while sleeping. I love when technology slowly mimics what was predicted years back. It’s like living in a sci-fi movie except our cars aren’t floating, yet. What…
