Shot for Vogue UK’s June 2015 issue, this editorial places Freja Beha Erichsen in the middle of a wide, unforgiving desert. There is no sense of spectacle for spectacle’s sake here. The location is open, quiet, and intense, which gives the images room to breathe. Glen Luchford uses the landscape the way he often does, not as decoration, but as a mood. The desert heat is almost tangible. You can imagine the dust sticking to skin and the sun pressing down between frames.
