Fast fashion company H&M has made a lot of buzz with their unique collaborations with luxury designers, from Balmain, Kenzo, Mason Margiela, Versace and more. This year they have announced the new collaboration with ERDEM, releasing a fashion teaser trailer directed by award-winning director Baz Lurhman. A release date of November second has been placed on the collection. Erdem released a statement saying “I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale, including a menswear collection which I have never done before. It’s also such a thrill to work with Baz Lurhmann, one of the most important storytellers of our time.”

M.I.A. – REWEAR IT (Music Video)
M.I.A. and H&M team up for a World Recycle Week project which encourages shoppers to bring in their unwanted to clothing for recycling purposes. The song “Rewear It” was specifically for the campaign. Although H&M has been severely criticized for their fast fashion practices (cheap clothes that gets thrown out quickly working against recycling) and outsourced factory use. But this is a step in the right direction M.I.A. tells Vogue “Any of those things is progressive, and I think you have to give it a chance.”
