Evan Menswear SS 2015 Amsterdam
Relaxed, cool and slightly formal. Most outfits paired with long shorts and layered outerwear. The models and styling varies within the collection but each has an essence of nonchalant coolness. “Did I pick this out? oops, oh well looks good.” This also reminds me I need to buy some socks. source:

S/S15 Menswear Trends
Baggy: Whether it’s the pants, shirts, or outerwear, almost every collection seemed oversized. This didn’t mean one baggy piece and the rest fitted. If it was baggy so was the whole outfit making everything seem more relaxed and cool. Even better if your weight tends to fluctuate I guess. Short Loose Shorts: Above knee length but wide. Ideal loungewear and interchangeable with endless options. Sneakers: A trend that has followed through from last season is the sneakers. ( thanks Karl) Colorful or solid we saw them all over the mens runways. Mixed with both formal wear and more casual looks. Futuristic Jesus Sandals: Clogish birkenstocks and sandals made…

Saint Laurent Menswear SS 2015 Western Rocker Throwback
AMAZING and nostalgic collection. Dipped from a different decade full of sex, love and rock&roll. A huge turn from all the collections we are seeing taking a minimalist futuristic sandal/sock praising approach. Styled to perfection each outfit stands alone. I would personally wear each of these. Top 3 favorite collection so far. source:

Thom Browne Menswear S/S 2015 Marionette Soldiers
An extremely avant-garde show and collection. So far there haven’t been too many this season so it’s a nice change from the continues trends within other collections. This show featured doll like models with clear masks on. The clothing seemed padded and the patterns were continuously mixed and matched. The silhouette where ever changing and architectural which you usually don’t see in a menswear collection. Wearable? ehhhh… well if you can why not right? source:

Umit Benan Menswear S/S 2015 Tennis Studs
Athletic tennis inspired sportswear from a rich country club in the 70’s. With a range of characters from the newcomer to the mature tycoon in all white. This collection was fun to watch due to it’s hyper-masculine styling and location. source:

Lanvin Menswear S/S 2015 Gay Wolf of Wall Street
Very mature and formal with a few casual pieces. The fits on most were loose, especially the pants. A lot of multi-layering with expensive fabrics with luxurious sheen. My favorite outfits went down the runway would have to be the more simple in black and white, and pretty much all the shoes. source:

Kenzo Menswear S/S 2015 Sporty Pastel
Kenzo’s SS15 collection was centered around pastel sportswear. Solid long coats and caps with large outerwear with spots and stripes. Favorite pieces would have to be most of the pullovers and the graphic patterned pants. source:

Givenchy Menswear S/S 2015 B&W Floral Punk
Black and white floral urban punk. Surprisingly masculine in regards to the design factors, the floral designs are more seen as a camouflage graphic than a dainty and delicate representation in clothing. A few pieces wear actually womenswear and some female models were scattered throughout the show. source:

Rick Owens Menswear S/S 2015 Intergalactic Gladiator Basketballers
Old world and fantasy. Dressed as if a battle were to occur wearing sports jersey like pieces paired with wide shorts. Some models had full body paint of a solid lightly tinted dusty colors. Gladiators from another galaxy back in time. Interesting collection to see, it leaves you wondering. source:

Yohji Yamamoto Menswear S/S 2015
Yessss. Probably my personal favorite shows so far. Formal homeless chic at it’s best. Someone hold down the Olsen twins. The draping of rich fabrics playing against the baggy long tailoring creates a perfect balance between too relaxed and overdressed. Multiple combinations of pieces all combined to make similar silhouettes to each other. source:
