L'artiste japonaise Hiroko Igeta crée des poupées articulées qui choquent d'abord par leur posture et leurs combinaisons désarmantes, mais qui mettent finalement en valeur la forme humaine en tant qu'art perceptible.. Né à Tokyo en 1967, Igeta a perfectionné ses compétences en sculpture comme celle d'une poupée depuis 1986. Ses poupées comportent des membres mobiles.
