Candles, sunshine, and moonlight are some of the many embraced, unique and wellknown sources of beautiful light, especially in a photography sense. However a new and also more permanent light source has now made itself known. Photographer Catherine Balet captures images where the source lighting comes from smartphones, laptops and other forms of new technology. The series “Strangers in the Light” walks the line of social and artistic topics.
