Nicklas Kunz Menswear S/S 2015 Copenhagen Fashion Week

Nicklas Kunz’s Spring Summer 2015 menswear collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week leaned confidently into a sporty, urban mindset. The clothes were loose fitting and athletic, designed to emphasize movement and the body without relying on heavy structure or unnecessary detail. It was a direct and physical approach to menswear, rooted in strength and simplicity.

Sport was not just a reference point but the backbone of the collection. Many of the looks were styled to highlight the models’ physiques, reinforcing a traditionally masculine energy. The absence of shoes only amplified this effect, keeping the focus on the body and the garments themselves rather than accessories. The styling felt deliberate, stripping the presentation down to its essential elements.

The color palette was tightly controlled, centered on black, yellow, and white. This limited range gave the collection clarity and cohesion, allowing shape and proportion to take priority. Black grounded the looks, yellow added impact and attitude, and white brought balance and freshness. Together, the colors reinforced the athletic and urban tone without feeling overly graphic.

Silhouettes were relaxed but purposeful, suggesting sportswear that could easily exist beyond the runway. There was an ease to the garments that made them feel wearable, yet still strong in presence. Nothing felt overly styled or forced, which added to the collection’s confidence.

Spring Summer 2015 from Nicklas Kunz presented menswear that was direct, physical, and unapologetically masculine. It was a collection that understood its audience and delivered a clear point of view, blending sport and city life into a sharp, focused vision.
