For Spring Summer 2015 in Paris, the designer leaned fully into a windswept fantasy that felt undone on purpose and dramatic by design. This was not a collection meant to sit politely in your closet. It was meant to move, to billow, to catch air and attitude at the same time.

Baggy: Whether it’s the pants, shirts, or outerwear, almost every collection seemed oversized. This didn’t mean one baggy piece and the rest fitted. If it was baggy so was the whole outfit making everything seem more relaxed and cool. Even better if your weight tends to fluctuate I guess. Short Loose Shorts: Above knee length but wide. Ideal loungewear and interchangeable with endless options. Sneakers: A trend that has followed through from last season is the sneakers. Yohji Yamamoto’s Menswear Spring Summer 2015 show felt like a reminder of why his work continues to sit outside trend cycles entirely. While much of menswear at the time leaned toward polish or normcore restraint, Yamamoto delivered something far more assured. Relaxed, romantic, and intellectually rigorous all at once. Formal homeless chic at its most refined.
