The Ghillies by artist Polixeni Papapetrou

A sense of mystery and anonymity surrounds artist Polixeni Papapetrou photography series. Each photograph contains a camouflaged figure that is human like but blends in to their surroundings.  Borderline chic, these figures also remind us of childhood spies or the lightheartedness of Scooby-Doo and Shaggy investigating something. Check out the whimsical series below: source:

Relaxed, cool and slightly formal. Most outfits paired with long shorts and layered outerwear.  The models and styling varies within the collection but each has an essence of nonchalant coolness. “Did I pick this out? oops, oh well looks good.” This also reminds me I need to buy some socks. source:

WTF Baby Sculptures by Johnson Tsang

Is this a new genre called crazy milk babies? I’m sold. Artist Johnson Tsang of Honk Kong has created a series of large headed milky white babies fighting and jumping on each other.  The more I thought about it the more I realized the theme might be reproduction and the competition to be born. source:

Vogmask and Face Slap SS 2015 Villain?

Alrighty, this collection team up reminds me of the Power Rangers or something off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I’m guessing due to the eccentric face masks, very spring.  Keep out the allergens. The color pallet was hot pinks with black and there wasn’t too much range in the designs.  If anything the masks could stand alone. source:

    ALAN ZEPEDA RESORT 2015

Mexican designer Alan Zepeda’s collection consists of Greek like togas mixed with sports attire. Drappingly casual and gender-less, or gender-full, since it was designed for all genders.  Paired with some black high tops giving the soft curving designs more of a modern/casual feel while still holding on to its flowing uniqueness source:

Perfume Genius – ‘Queen’ (Official Video)

New music video released for the song Queen by Perfume Genius directed by SSION for the upcoming album Too  Bright set to release in September 23rd through Matador Records. The music video has heavy stylized symbolism and sneering gender bending friendships. Honestly I think I’m going to have to watch this a few more times before I can make out story of it, if there is one. Most notable parts   include the sassy boardroom runway pant suit moment, The faceless scene changes wardrobes, pigs and cheerleaders for suicide.
