    Yes, the runway queen/legend herself Naomi Campbell will be in the upcoming American Horror Story: Hotel  season along side Lady Gaga. Confirmed by TV Line  Naomi will have a reoccurring role in the show. Her character is said to be “a fashion editor who pays the ultimate price for her critiques.” How fitting. It’s going to be a stylish season.   Just to confirm who has officially signed on: Lady Gaga, Bassett–Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny, West Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Lily Rabe and Denis O’Hare.

    James Franco’s Book About Lana Del Rey

    James Franco has taken his Warholian obsession with friend Lana Del Rey to a new level. He will be releasing a book titled Flip-Side (preorder) out 03/16/2016 featuring photos and pretend interviews with Lana. He initially wanted her words in the book but Franco stated in V Magazine: “I wanted to interview Lana for a book and she said, “Just write around me, it’s better if it’s not my own words. It’s almost better if you don’t get me exactly, but try.’” Flip-side: Real and Imaginary Conversations with Lana Del Rey is due out on March 15, 2016 and is available through Random House books.

    Alice Glass Releases First Track Since Leaving Crystal Castles

    Alice Glass formerly known for her music duo Crystal Castles has released her first solo track produced and co-written by HEALTH member Jupiter Keyes. We weren’t sure if she would continue with music after the awkward Crystal Castle’s departure, but now we know she’s been putting in the effort to creating new material on her own terms. The song she released is titled “Stillbirth” and is born from an abusive relationship that started in her teenage years. It will be available on iTunes July 18th.     New Gorillaz Album Recording In September

    Earlier in the year it was confirmed that via instagram that a new album would be out, which is great but no further details had been provided. But Damon Albarn recently announced on Australian TV show ABC 7.30 that the ball will begin rolling this September. “I’m starting recording in September for a new Gorillaz record. I’ve just been really, really busy so I haven’t had a chance. I’d love to just get back in to that routine of being at home and coming to the studio five days a week.” We’ll keep you posted.

    Christian Audigier Passes Away at 57

    The designer Christian Audigier best known for his Von Dutch and Ed Hardy brands that iconiclly defined a lot the early and mid 2000’s. A brand “frowned”upon now but whether you like it or not it was an awesome pop culture moment with an endless roster of celebrity clients. Earlier this year Christian Audigier was  unfortunately diagnosed with the bone marrow disease Myelodysplastic Syndrome and as of recently things took a turn for the worse. Leaving us at the age of 57.
