Ralph Rucci Ready To Wear S/S 2015 NYFW

Ralph Rucci’s S/S 2015 collection is a masterclass in understated elegance and precision. From the very first look, the collection communicates confidence, refinement, and a deep understanding of structure and form. Rucci’s signature approach to tailoring and silhouette is on full display here, with clean lines and carefully considered shapes dominating the runway. Each gown and cocktail dress feels deliberate, as if every fold, every seam, and every pleat has been meticulously plotted to create a sense of balance and harmony. The overall effect is both modern and timeless, a collection that feels as appropriate for a high-fashion gala as it does for an editorial shoot.

Carmen Marc Valvo Ready To Wear S/S 2015 NYFW

Carmen Marc Valvo’s Spring Summer 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week delivered an edgy and dramatic mix of designs that spanned both menswear and womenswear. The collection included tailored suits, cocktail dresses, long evening gowns, and even swimwear, showing the designer’s range and versatility. Despite the diversity of pieces, the collection felt cohesive, tied together by a consistent focus on black as the dominant color. This choice gave the lineup a bold, sophisticated, and slightly mysterious mood.

    Hyperlaps from Instagram

A new app has been released by Instagram called Hyperlapse making mobile device videos more professional and smooth.  Everyone has become an elitist  photographer with instagram, so why not video? Or should we call it filmography now? Either way it’s a step in the direction of better quality content. “Traditionally, time-lapse videos depend on holding your phone or camera still while you film,” said Instagram. “Hyperlapse from Instagram features built-in stabilization technology that lets you create moving, handheld time lapses that result in a cinematic look, quality and feel — a feat that has previously only been possible with expensive equipment.” Is Hyperlapse worth they hype?  Watch the video below:

    Ice Bucket Challenge Haters

I was a bit of a skeptic with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge trend at first, but then I saw Britney Spears (GODney Spears) take part in the challenge and I was sold. Someone throw ice water on me while I whisper and breath heavily like my gorl Britney. On a more serious note, I honestly have done no research on the challenge, where it originated etc. I don’t intend to either. Topics of charity just aren’t interesting. This is just an observation of the recent flood in social media concerning the topic. Just because Charity is boring doesn’t mean it’s bad. I understand. I donate when a cashier asks…

Graveravens has a cigarette with NYC photographer Koa Pennock

Chance the Rapper playing in the background, I had a sit down cigarette in Bushwick, Brooklyn with Hip-hop loving, ex-UFC fighting photographer Koa Pennock. (interviewed by Christopher Klimovski)   Thanks for meeting with me for this cigarette buddy. Anything for you.   Tell us a bit about who you are and what you do: I want to first thank you for asking me first who I am, and THEN what I do. I’ve never liked being defined by the latter. I’m Koa. I moved from Seattle when i was 20 and now I roam around New York City on foot day and night doing whatever. Eating, dancing, taking pictures. …

Beautiful illustrated depictions by artist Kaethe Butcher featuring lezgirl centric topics. The images are very raunchy but also have depth and romance. I assume like most passionate relationships. Symbolic with the occasional written statement nuzzled in the story. Enjoy the images below. source:
