A new app has been released by Instagram called Hyperlapse making mobile device videos more professional and smooth. Everyone has become an elitist photographer with instagram, so why not video? Or should we call it filmography now? Either way it’s a step in the direction of better quality content. “Traditionally, time-lapse videos depend on holding your phone or camera still while you film,” said Instagram. “Hyperlapse from Instagram features built-in stabilization technology that lets you create moving, handheld time lapses that result in a cinematic look, quality and feel — a feat that has previously only been possible with expensive equipment.” Is Hyperlapse worth they hype? I was a bit of a skeptic with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge trend at first, but then I saw Britney Spears (GODney Spears) take part in the challenge and I was sold.
