Luisa Beccaria Ready To Wear S/S 2016 MFW

A sweet, modern and floral take on a Jane Austen romance. Sheer light gowns in soft pastels styled with wide-brimmed garden hats. The Luisa Beccaria collection was so strategically untrendy that it became enjoyably refreshing. See the Luisa Beccaria Ready To Wear S/S 2016 collection presented at Milan Fashion Week below:

Max Mara Ready To Wear S/S 2016 MFW

The Max Mara collection was a new wave punk approach to paint suites and tailored separates. Pulling inspirations from a stars and strips sailer feel with bold linear 80’s styling. See the Max Mara S/S 2016 collection presented at Milan Fashion Week below:

Fendi Ready To Wear S/S 2016 MFW

Fendi with the help of Karl Lagerfeld presented interesting shapes with flowing Shaksperian blouses and lace up detailing. The relaxed and muted tones made the intricate Fendi bags stand out. See the Fendi Ready To Wear S/S 2016 collection below:

Gucci Ready To Wear S/S 2016 MFW

Alessandro Michele’s Gucci show was a throwback hipsters dream. Art school quirky with a Wes Anderson likeability. Styled with clunky glasses the collection consisted of modest pattern mixing, sheer fabrics and unique drawing like detailing highlighting the movement and folds of the fabrics. Flights Of Fancey by Willy Vanderperre

Birds have always drawn so much design and creative influences in the fashion industry. If we’re not plucking their feathers we are emulating their elegant shapes. In this series by photographer Willy Vanderperre titled Flights Of Fancy we find exotic birds alongside their heavily influenced fashion. Featuring models Alisa Ahmann, Dylan Xue, Natalie Westling, Lily Aldridge, Hollie May Saker, Sam Rollinson, and Aya Jones. I have no info on what the birds names are though. Check out the shoot in the October 2015 issue of Vogue.
