Lena Dunham was crowned “THE NEW QUEEN OF COMDEY” by Vogue in their upcoming February issue. Of course, with dubbing Lena that title would come a cover, and on that cover there is her photo, and in that photo comes some controversy. You would think people would be thrilled to have someone seemingly forward thinking and creative gracing the cover of Vogue. As far as celebrities go, we do put Lena Dunham on a relatable and level headed pedestal (Along with Miss Hungergames). The reason for the controversy surrounds the fact of Photoshop, and the issues with projecting false images on other people. Some spectators were shocked that someone so…

KOLOR AW14 Shot by Jacques Habbah
Kolor’s Autumn Winter 2014 collection occupies an uneasy but compelling space between comfort and disarray. On the surface, the clothes feel warm, layered, and familiar. Look closer, and a deliberate tension begins to emerge. This is not ease for ease’s sake. It is controlled imbalance, styled to appear almost accidental.

VERSACE AUTUM/WINTER 2014| MILAN FASHION WEEK
With a late 70’s early 80’s rebel feel, the show begins with the famous silk baroque Versace print with a western cowboy twist. Deep jewel tones and dark neutrals filled the runway with endless amounts of various textures, with the most notable being a slick sheen, whether being in the full red leather cowboy outfit or the silk shirts and accessories. This very cheeky collection definitely had a huge nod to gay culture, including coded handkerchiefs, jeweled crotches, leather chaps and over embellishments. “It was an expression of freedom. I think it’s really important today with what’s going on in the world with civil rights and love.” – Donatella…

“There was a goat fur runway this evening at Fendi. Urban Highlander’ marks Silvia Venturini Fendi’s return to a true fashion show for her menswear collection, where luxury made fun. Prada Men’s Autumn/Winter 2014 Collection
The Prada Men’s Autumn Winter 2014 collection arrived with a quiet authority that refused spectacle in favor of precision. Rather than relying on dramatic set design or overt theatrics, the runway focused on mood, silhouette, and psychological tension. It was a season that asked viewers to pay attention, not because it demanded it, but because it rewarded it.
