Naomi Campbell is Pushing for Vogue Africa
Top model the legendary Naomi Campbell is a huge advocate for diversity in the fashion industry. The CFDA Icon Award Winner spoke with Reuters about how fashion should better serve Africans. She states: “There should be a Vogue Africa, We just had Vogue Arabia – it is the next progression. It has to be. Africa has never had the opportunity to be out there and their fabrics and their materials and their designs be accepted on the global platform … it shouldn’t be that way.”

I use myself as a starting point but a lot of people recognize themselves in my work. I think it’s crucial that we don’t neglect our feelings, but that we dare to acknowledge them, which is part of being alive.
