Groningen based artist Dorris Vooijs creates ghostly and stylish imagery using mixed media elemtns and portrature. “Through the years i have been collecting vintage pictures that triggered scenes from my past as a child growing up. Often they become the basis for new work. With digital sketches, markers, spray paint, embroidery and ink I try to convert those old images into something that is part of my life today and current state of mind.” See some selected works below:
