A New Chapter for Fendi
Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2026 campaign introduces a new creative direction for the house as Maria Grazia Chiuri makes her debut at Fendi. Rather than relying on spectacle, the campaign creates a mood of intimacy, tension, and quiet desire, using tailoring and contrasting textures to establish Chiuri’s vision.
A Shared Wardrobe
The collection blurs the traditional boundaries between menswear and womenswear. Pieces appear to move between the two wardrobes, creating a sense of shared dressing and borrowed identities. Oversized tailoring feels deliberately masculine in one moment, while fitted skirts, sheer lace, and sensual evening pieces bring a softer energy into the same visual world.
The tension between those two sides becomes one of the collection’s strongest ideas: precision against softness, restraint against sensuality.

An Atmosphere of Intimacy
Photographer Jo Ann Callis captures the campaign with a distinctly cinematic eye. Her imagery explores human connection and the emotional distance that can exist between two people, drawing inspiration from the work of choreographer Pina Bausch.
That sense of physical and emotional tension carries directly into the clothing. Two models appear together in relaxed dark denim, almost resembling a uniform, while other images contrast severe black suiting with romantic lace and textured eveningwear.
Rome as the Backdrop
The campaign’s Roman setting adds another layer of drama. Ornate interiors, painted walls, heavy curtains, and antique mirrors are bathed in warm light, giving the images a sense of old-world grandeur without making the collection feel traditional.
Against these elaborate surroundings, the clothes feel particularly sharp. A cream coat is finished with dark edging and paired with a graphic handbag, while a plunging beige blouse is framed by delicate white lace.
The Accessories
Fendi’s accessories bring the collection back to the house’s unmistakable identity. Structured handbags, oversized totes, shoulder bags, pointed heels, boots, and statement jewelry add definition to the otherwise restrained wardrobe.
Rather than simply accessorizing the clothes, these pieces act as punctuation, sharpening each look and reinforcing the collection’s balance between strength and sensuality.
